Hummingbirds
The hummingbirds are back this year and I've been trying to photograph them when they make different gestures or body movements. I've been able to get closer to the hummers this year by slowly walking up to the "hummingbird tree" that I installed in the back yard. The male seems to allow me to do this more than the female--likely because the female doesn't seem to sit in the tree very often. Below are some of my favorite gestures by these little birds.
