In 2014 I created a Blurb book of my favorite 50 photos. The whole purpose of creating this book was to identify my Favorite 50 images made over the past 10 years—the first 10 years of my photography hobby. I’ve wanted to do a large book of my images for a while. I toyed with the idea of doing one book per year for the past five years or so, but I never thought there were enough really good images in a given year to justify the cost. I realized in late 2013 that 2014 would mark 10 years since I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon Digital Rebel, and thus, 10 years that I’ve been enjoying this hobby. This seemed to be a great time to finally do a big book.
In the book, I talk about each of the photos and provide technical (EXIF) data about each. In addition to the hardback book, I created a PDF file, which you can view and download here. If you would rather just look at the photos, you can scroll through the grid below, clicking on any photo to see it larger.
(Note: clicking on the blue "here" above will open a new page and load the eBook in the browser. You can then download the eBook PDF file by clicking on the Download button in the upper right of the new browser page. If you are on a phone or tablet, you may have to swipe down (or drag down) a little until you see three dots (...) in the upper-right corner. Tap on the three-dot button and it should reveal a menu-let that has Download at the top. Tap on Download and the file should download. The file is hosted on Box.com. You do not have to "Sign up" or "Log in" to anything to get the file.)
