Another year end and another calendar. Will I do another one next year? I don’t know.
We didn’t get away much this year, but we did have an 8-day getaway to Iceland. It was quite a trip. We drove around the Ring Road and saw many breathtaking sights. The most lasting impression we had coming away from our visit to the “Land of Fire and Ice” was the variety of the landscape and how the scenery changed at almost every turn. I could have made this year’s calendar another single-place appointment-keeper like last year’s, but I thought I’d throw a few photos from close by in the mix. I will provide other photos from Iceland in the monthly location descriptions that can be accessed via the QR code for each month.
I'm continuing something I started a couple years ago, and that is the placement of QR codes on the cover and each month of the calendar. By scanning the code with your phone, you’ll get to discover additional information about the places shown in each of the monthly photos in the calendar. Some of the month will also include other photos associated with the monthly photo. You can click on any of the photos to see them full size (tap or click on the X in the upper right to get back).
